Martha A. Hernanadez Maldonado

Martha Hernández is an experienced attorney with a law degree from the National Autonomous University of México, associated with the law firm in México City since 2004.

AREAS OF PRACTICE

Administrative Procedural Law, Constitutional Procedural Law and Intellectual Property Litigation.

PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

In 1977, 1989 and 1982 she was the Assistant to Attorney Miguel D. Gadda in

San Francisco, California, handling issues of legal rights of undocumented migrants

From 1980 to 1981 she was a sole practitioner in México City.

In 1983 she tough Administrative Law and Private International Law at University of Guadalajara.

From July 1983 to February of 1988 she was the Secretary of Analysis and Projects at the Seventh District Court for Administrative Matters in Mexico City.

From 1987 to 1988 she was a Member of the Board of Directors of the Secretaries and Court Officers College of the First Circuit.

From 1988 to February of 1992 she was a Sole Practitioner.

From February 1992 to October of 1994 she worked at the First Circuit Court of the Eight Circuit as Server and Projecting Secretary.

From October to December of 1994 she was an Intern Secretary to the Fourth District Court in the State of Guerrero

From 1995 to 1999 she was the Advisor to the Direction of Intellectual Property Protection of the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property.

From May of 2000 to July of 2003 she worked at the Mexico City law firm of Olivares & CIA, S.C. as a litigant of Amparo and Administrative litigation. 

Martha Hernández obtained her law degree in 1975 from the National Autonomous University of Mexico in Mexico City. She holds postgraduate studies and paralegal studies in International Law, Migration Laws, Conflicts of Laws, from the Hastings College of Law (1977) and several Diploma Courses in Amparo Law and Administrative Laws.

She is fluent in both English and Spanish.
