2.22.2002. IBLC Abogados, S.C. organizes a Conference on Intellectual Property Rights’ Protection in México, as par of its Tijuana office inauguration program. This Magisterial Conference was co-organized with the Universidad Iberoamericana-Tijuana (UIA) and the National Chamber of Commerce-Tijuana (CANACO) and took place at the CANACO Auditorium.  It was attended by more than 300 lawyers, students and law Professors, Judges, foreign attorneys and representatives of the Federal and State of Baja governments.

After the Magisterial Conference, at a Private luncheon held at Restaurant Saberios of Tijuana, UIA and CETYS Universidad Professor, Mr. Alfredo Andere Mendiolea, Managing Partner of our firm IBLC Abogados, S.C., and Professor Loretta Ortiz Ahlf, Dean of UIA’s Law School in Mexico City presented to Federal and State of Baja California Congressmen and to other several State and Federal Judicial and Executive government Officials proposals for the amendment and improvement to the State’s Civil and Civil Procedures Codes and to the Education law for the bettering of the State’s legislation and Educational Methodology Program for the teaching of Private International Laws in the State’s Law Schools.

2.21.2002. Inauguration of the IBLC Abogados, S.C.’s offices in Tijuana.

After the construction was finished, the new offices in Tijuana were inaugurated by Mr. Alfredo Andere-Mendiolea, Managing Partner of the firm, Associates, their family members and clients.  Amongst the special guests and inauguration witnesses were the President of the Superior Court for the State of Baja California, the Secretary for Legal Matters for the State of Baja California, the Federal General Director of Foreign Investments, the Commissioner of the Federal Competition Commission and the Chairman of the International Services Group of Luce Forward in San Diego. The blessing of the new offices was performed by the Leader of the Jesuit Company in the State of Baja California.
